Kushala Daora is a steel-skinned Elder Dragon that generates powerful wind barriers and tornadoes. Its wind aura deflects attacks and pushes hunters away, making melee combat frustrating without Wind Resistance. Fire element weapons and Poison status negate its wind aura, and Windproof skill is highly recommended for consistent access.

Tips & Strategies

1. 1Windproof skill level 3 is essential -- without it, melee attacks bounce off the wind aura.
2. 2Poison status nullifies the wind aura entirely for a duration.
3. 3Fire element weapons deal the highest damage to Kushala Daora.
4. 4Stay away from the tornadoes it summons -- they deal continuous damage and knockback.
5. 5Flash Bombs knock it out of the sky during aerial phases.
