Tips & Strategies

1. 1Keep 4+ blocks distance -- creepers explode at roughly 3 blocks range
2. 2Cats and ocelots scare creepers away -- keep one near your base
3. 3Charged creepers (struck by lightning) drop mob heads when their explosion kills a mob
4. 4Hit-and-retreat tactic: sprint hit then back away before detonation
5. 5Shields block 100% of creeper explosion damage when timed correctly

• 💡Creepers were created by accident -- Notch accidentally swapped pig model height and width
• 💡The hissing sound gives you roughly 1.5 seconds warning before explosion
• 💡Water significantly reduces creeper explosion block damage
