AK-74N
The workhorse of Tarkov. The AK-74N is one of the most moddable and cost-effective assault rifles. With proper attachments it becomes a low-recoil laser with excellent ergonomics.
AK-74M
The modernized variant of the AK-74 with a folding polymer stock. Shares the same modding platform as the AK-74N but trades some ergonomics for a more compact profile.
M4A1
The M4A1 is a top-tier assault rifle when fully modded. Its high rate of fire combined with devastating 5.56 ammo like M995 makes it one of the best weapons for PvP engagements.
HK 416A5
The premium 5.56 assault rifle. The HK 416A5 boasts the highest fire rate in its class and handles recoil slightly better than the M4A1, making it the go-to choice for geared players.
SA-58
A battle rifle chambered in the hard-hitting 7.62x51mm. The SA-58 trades controllability for raw stopping power. Each round hits like a truck, making it lethal even with budget ammo.
ADAR 2-15
A semi-automatic only version of the M4 platform. The ADAR is the budget entry point to 5.56 NATO. Perfect for early-wipe DMR-style play before upgrading to a proper M4A1.

MP5
A classic 9mm submachine gun with excellent controllability. The MP5 is a reliable CQB weapon early wipe but falls off as players acquire better armor.
MP7A2
A compact PDW with an absurd fire rate and armor-piercing capability. The MP7 with FMJ SX ammo can shred through high-tier armor at close range.
PP-91 Kedr
The ultimate budget weapon. The Kedr fires 9x18mm which cannot penetrate armor, but its high fire rate and SP7 flesh damage make it deadly when targeting unarmored limbs.
