Street Fighter 6 Combo Guide
Master essential combos, Drive System routes, and Super Art finishers to maximize your damage output.
Drive Rush Combos
- 1Drive Rush cancel from a normal gives you frame advantage to extend combos with additional hits.
- 2Use crouching medium punch into Drive Rush as a universal combo starter for most characters.
- 3Drive Rush costs 1 Drive bar from a Drive Parry and 3 bars from a normal cancel.
- 4After Drive Rush, you gain enough frame advantage to link standing heavy punch into specials.
- 5Practice Drive Rush combos in Training Mode with the input display on to verify timing.
Punish Counter Combos
- 1Punish Counters grant extra hitstun, allowing combos that are not normally possible.
- 2When you block a Drive Impact, your punish counter combo can lead to massive damage.
- 3Heavy Shoryuken-type moves on Punish Counter can be followed up with juggle combos.
- 4Practice recognizing Punish Counter situations: blocked DPs, Drive Impacts, and raw supers.
- 5Optimal Punish Counter combos deal 30-50% more damage than standard combos.
Super Art Finishers
- 1Level 1 Super Arts are best used as combo enders for guaranteed damage at low cost.
- 2Level 2 Super Arts often have unique properties like armor or invincibility for mid-combo utility.
- 3Level 3 Super Arts deal the most damage and have cinematic animations. Save for kill confirms.
- 4Critical Art (Level 3 at low health) deals even more damage and has a unique animation.
- 5Cancel into Super Art from the last hit of a target combo for maximum damage output.
Drive Impact Combos
- 1Drive Impact causes wall splat near corners, allowing full combo follow-ups for huge damage.
- 2A crumple from Drive Impact (when opponent is in Drive Gauge burnout) gives a free combo.
- 3React to opponent Drive Impact with your own to win the exchange and get a punish.
- 4After a wall splat, you have enough time for a full combo into Super Art for max damage.
- 5Drive Impact is minus on block but safe at max range. Use it to condition opponents.
Optimal Combo Theory
- 1Always end combos with a knockdown move to maintain offensive pressure (oki).
- 2Scaling reduces damage after each hit. Front-load your highest damage moves early in combos.
- 3Corner combos deal significantly more damage. Carry opponents to the corner when possible.
- 4Use light attacks to confirm into combos, then cancel into heavier moves for damage.
- 5Learn both max-damage combos and safe combos that leave you in an advantageous position.
