Class Selection
- 1Try all four classes in the prologue before committing -- each plays very differently.
- 2Trickster and Devastator are close-range. Pyromancer is mid-range. Technomancer is long-range.
- 3Each class heals differently -- understand your healing mechanic and play around it.
- 4All classes are viable for endgame. Choose based on playstyle preference, not tier lists.
- 5You can have multiple characters, so feel free to experiment.
Combat System
- 1Outriders rewards aggression -- hiding behind cover gets you killed.
- 2Use abilities constantly. Short cooldowns mean abilities are your primary tools.
- 3Weapon mods proc on hit -- high fire-rate weapons trigger mods more frequently.
- 4Interrupt enemy abilities with melee or specific skills to prevent devastating attacks.
- 5Dodge-rolling gives brief invincibility and repositions you for better angles.
Gear & Progression
- 1Always equip the highest level gear to maximize your World Tier progression.
- 2World Tiers increase difficulty and reward quality. Push the highest tier you can handle.
- 3Dismantle unwanted gear instead of selling for mod unlocks and materials.
- 4Legendary armor sets have powerful 3-piece bonuses that define endgame builds.
- 5Raise item attributes through crafting at Dr. Zahedi to optimize your build.
