Rajang is one of the most aggressive monsters in the game, a Fanged Beast that enters a powered-up Golden state with devastating Thunder-charged attacks. Its speed and relentless combos punish slow weapons and poor positioning. Use Ice element weapons, target the tail to force it out of rage mode, and bring Pitfall Traps for openings.

Tips & Strategies

  1. 1Target the tail -- severing it prevents Rajang from entering its powered-up golden state.
  2. 2Pitfall Traps work when it is enraged; Shock Traps work when it is calm.
  3. 3Ice element weapons deal the most damage across all hit zones.
  4. 4Stay behind its legs to avoid the devastating forward punches and beam attack.
  5. 5Bring Thunderblight resistance or Thunderproof Mantle to survive lightning combos.
