Hunt Strategy

A brute wyvern that coats itself in mud for protection and charges headfirst at threats. Barroth shakes off mud globs that inflict Waterblight. When its mud armor is broken, it becomes faster but more vulnerable.

Tips & Strategies

1. 1Water weapons are most effective and also help remove its mud armor.
2. 2Break the mud armor on its head and body to expose weak points.
3. 3Dodge sideways during its charge attacks -- it has poor turning radius.
4. 4Mud globs inflict Waterblight -- bring Nulberries or Blight Resistance.
5. 5Without mud armor, it takes significantly more damage but attacks faster.

Hunt Phases

Coated in mud: slower, armored. Mud broken: faster, more vulnerable. Re-applies mud by rolling in mud pools.
