Small Maps (3)
Factory
The smallest and most intense map. Tight corridors and close-quarter combat in an abandoned factory complex. Tagilla roams with his hammer and welding mask.
Night Factory
The nighttime variant of Factory. Same layout but pitch-black conditions create a different tactical experience. Flashlights and NVGs become essential gear.
The Lab
The highest-risk, highest-reward map in Tarkov. An underground TerraGroup laboratory guarded by Raiders. Requires a Labs Access Keycard to enter. No insurance returns.
Medium Maps (4)
Customs
The quintessential Tarkov map. A linear layout with chokepoints at the river crossings. Home to Reshala and his guards at Dorms, and a mix of PvP hotspots and quiet loot runs.
Reserve
A military reserve base with underground bunkers, barracks, and helicopter landing areas. Glukhar commands a well-armed squad. Extraction requires planning.
Ground Zero
The introductory map designed for new players. A small urban area with moderate loot and lower-level PMCs only. The best place to learn Tarkov fundamentals.
Sandbox
A mixed-environment map featuring construction sites, open terrain, and underground areas. Serves as a mid-difficulty map bridging Ground Zero and the harder locations.
Large Maps (5)
Woods
A vast forested map with open fields and dense tree cover. Shturman guards the Sawmill lumber yard. Long-range engagements are common across the open areas.
Shoreline
A large coastal map centered around the Health Resort, a massive multi-story hotel filled with high-value loot behind locked doors. Sanitar provides medical supplies when defeated.
Interchange
A massive shopping mall with a dark, complex interior. Home to Killa in his distinctive armor. Tech stores offer the best electronics loot in the game.
Lighthouse
A scenic coastal map with a fortified USEC Rogue water treatment facility. Rogues use mounted weapons and coordinated tactics. Rich in military and tech loot.
Streets of Tarkov
The largest urban map featuring detailed city blocks, apartments, and commercial buildings. Kaban and his crew control the central area. Intense CQB and vertical combat.
