Tips & Strategies

  1. 1Do NOT hit a silverfish and leave it alive -- it will alert all nearby silverfish in infested blocks
  2. 2Kill silverfish in one hit to prevent them from calling reinforcements
  3. 3Silk Touch pickaxe on infested blocks drops the normal stone variant without spawning silverfish
  4. 4They signal that you are near a Stronghold if found in a cave
  5. 5Bane of Arthropods enchantment is very effective against them
