Choose Your Class Wisely

Barbarian is great for beginners with high survivability. Sorcerer offers satisfying ranged gameplay. Necromancer lets minions do the work. Try each class to level 10 before committing.

Explore the World Tiers

Start on World Tier 1 (Adventurer) for a relaxed experience or World Tier 2 (Veteran) for more XP and gold. World Tiers 3 and 4 unlock after completing the Cathedral of Light capstone dungeon.

Unlock Aspects Early

Complete dungeons to unlock Codex of Power aspects. These provide powerful bonuses you can imprint on your gear at the Occultist.

Salvage, Do Not Sell

Salvage gear at the Blacksmith instead of selling it. Crafting materials become essential for upgrading your equipment later in the game.

Use the Map Wisely

Reveal map areas by exploring and activating Waypoints. Strongholds provide permanent waypoints, vendors, and access to new dungeons when cleared.

Understand Your Skill Tree

Each class has 6 skill categories: Basic, Core, Defensive, and 3 class-specific. Invest in Core skills for damage and Defensive skills for survivability.

Learn the Paragon System

After level 50, you unlock the Paragon Board. Each level grants 4 Paragon points. Focus on Rare and Legendary nodes for the biggest power boosts.

Prioritize Renown

Complete region Renown objectives (dungeons, side quests, waypoints, strongholds, Altars of Lilith) for bonus skill points, potion charges, and Paragon points.

Gear Up for Endgame

Sacred items drop in World Tier 3, Ancestral items in World Tier 4. Focus on items with your build-defining stats: Crit Chance, Crit Damage, Cooldown Reduction, or Resource Generation.

Join Seasonal Content

Each season brings new mechanics, a seasonal questline, and a Battle Pass. Create a seasonal character to access all new content and rewards.
