Grounded Creature Guide
Every creature in Grounded -- tier levels, weaknesses, and strategies to defeat them all.
Aphid
A tiny, passive green insect that flees when approached and drops Aphid Honeydew on death. Aphids are the easiest creatures to hunt and provide a reliable early-game food source.
Gnat
A small flying insect that hovers in swarms near light sources and damp areas. Gnats are weak individually but can be annoying in groups, and their fuzzy drops are used in early crafting recipes.
Weevil
A docile beetle that wanders the yard floor searching for plant matter to eat. Weevils pose no threat and are an excellent source of Weevil Meat for cooking early-game meals.
Worker Ant
The backbone of the ant colony, Worker Ants patrol trails and carry resources back to their hill. They are only mildly aggressive when provoked but will call reinforcements if a fight breaks out near the colony.
Fire Ant
A red variant of the standard ant that deals burn damage with its attacks and lives in the upper yard. Fire Ants are more aggressive than workers and their parts are needed for spicy-themed weapons and armor.
Dust Mite
A microscopic-looking creature found in dusty, sheltered areas beneath large objects in the yard. Dust Mites are fragile and drop Mite Fuzz used to craft basic glider and armor padding recipes.
Ladybug
A large, heavily armored beetle that is docile until attacked, at which point it becomes extremely aggressive. Ladybug parts are highly valued for crafting the Ladybug Armor set, one of the best tank builds in the game.
Stinkbug
A foul-smelling insect that releases a toxic gas cloud when threatened, dealing continuous poison damage to nearby players. Stinkbug parts are essential for crafting Gas Masks and poison-resist gear.
Wolf Spider
A terrifying nocturnal predator that roams the yard at night and retreats to dark dens during the day. Wolf Spiders are among the most dangerous common enemies and drop parts for powerful mid-tier weapons and armor.
Bee
A large flying insect found near flowers and the picnic table that attacks with a painful stinger. Bees drop Bee Fuzz and Stingers used for crafting ranged ammunition and the Bee Armor set.
Wasp
An aggressive flying insect that patrols near its nest and attacks on sight with rapid stinging dives. Wasps are faster and more dangerous than bees, and their parts craft some of the best mid-game ranged weapons.
Diving Bell Spider
An aquatic spider that creates air bubble nests underwater and ambushes players in flooded areas of the yard. Diving Bell Spider parts are required for crafting underwater breathing equipment and water-themed gear.
