Power beats Technical, Technical beats Speed, Speed beats Power. Win Head-to-Head matchups to deal double damage and fill your Kinship gauge faster.

Learn Monster Patterns

Each monster favors certain attack types. Watch for visual cues to predict their next move. Enraged monsters often change their attack type patterns.

Weapon Types Matter

Slash weapons break tails, Blunt weapons break heads, Pierce weapons break wings. Matching weapon to body part creates openings for bonus damage.

Kinship Skills

Fill the Kinship gauge to ride your monstie and use powerful Kinship Skills. Riding also protects you from damage and provides monstie-specific attacks.

Double Attacks

When you and your monstie both win Head-to-Head with the same attack type, you trigger a Double Attack dealing massive combined damage.

Switch Monsties Mid-Battle

Switch between 6 monsties in battle to match enemy weaknesses. A good team covers all elements and attack types for flexibility.

Use Items Strategically

Vital Essence restores monstie HP. Lifecrystals revive fallen monsties. Always carry Max Potions and Farcasters for emergency situations.

Target Specific Parts

Breaking monster parts yields rare materials and can disable attacks. Prioritize breaking the part that corresponds to the strongest enemy attack.
