Melee illager with an iron axe. Very high damage. Found in woodland mansions and raids.

Tips & Strategies

1. 1Vindicators deal the highest melee damage of any common mob -- keep distance
2. 2Use a bow or crossbow to pick them off before they close in
3. 3Named "Johnny" vindicators attack all nearby mobs, making them useful for mob farms
4. 4They can disable shields with their axe attacks
5. 5In Hard difficulty, they can spawn with enchanted iron axes

Fun Facts

• 💡Naming a vindicator "Johnny" makes it attack all nearby mobs except illagers
• 💡This is a reference to the "Here's Johnny!" scene from The Shining
