Hunt Strategy

Mizutsune is a graceful Leviathan that uses bubbles and water jets to attack from range while sliding across the battlefield. Its Bubbleblight status causes uncontrollable sliding, making positioning extremely difficult. Bring Cleanser or Deodorant to remove Bubbleblight, and use Thunder weapons to exploit its primary weakness.

2. 2Thunder weapons exploit its primary elemental weakness for maximum damage.
3. 3It slides gracefully -- predict its slide path and attack where it will stop.
4. 4Bubbleblight causes uncontrollable sliding -- cure it before repositioning.
5. 5Target the head and tail for the highest damage modifiers.

Hunt Phases

Alternates between ground sliding attacks and bubble-based ranged phases. Becomes faster and chains more attacks below 50% HP.
