Lost Ark Progression Guide
A complete progression roadmap from Tier 1 to endgame. Learn item level milestones, honing strategies, and the fastest path to Legion Commander raids.
Tier 1: Item Level 302 - 600
- 1Complete the main story quest through North Vern to reach item level 302.
- 2Run Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids daily for honing materials.
- 3Use the Vern Powerpass on your second character to skip the story.
- 4Do not spend gold on Tier 1 accessories. They become obsolete quickly.
- 5Focus on pushing to 600 as fast as possible. Tier 1 is a tutorial phase.
Tier 2: Item Level 600 - 1100
- 1Continue the story through Yorn to unlock Tier 2 content.
- 2Run the Tower on alt characters for bound honing materials.
- 3Start doing Abyssal Dungeons weekly for accessories and gold.
- 4Save Pirate Coins for honing material vendors.
- 5Push through Tier 2 steadily. It is another transitional tier.
Tier 3: Item Level 1302 - 1415
- 1Complete the Punika storyline to enter Tier 3.
- 2Start doing weekly Argos and Oreha Abyssal Dungeons for gold.
- 3Begin building your class engravings properly at 1370+.
- 4Use the honing research in your Stronghold to boost alt progression.
- 5Push to 1415 to unlock the first Legion Commander raid: Valtan.
Endgame: Item Level 1415+
- 1Clear Legion Commander raids weekly: Valtan, Vykas, Kakul-Saydon, Brelshaza.
- 2Optimize your build with proper engravings, stats, and accessories.
- 3Use the honing buff events and express passes to push alts to 1415+.
- 4Focus on a roster of 6 characters for maximum gold generation.
- 5Progress through Kayangel, Akkan, Ivory Tower, and Thaemine as your item level increases.
