Foundation Design

  • 1Build on flat terrain or a pre-existing POI for a head start.
  • 2Use Reinforced Concrete as your primary building material.
  • 3Design a kill corridor to funnel zombies into traps.
  • 4Elevate your base at least 3 blocks off the ground.
  • 5Use Hatches as one-way doors that zombies cannot open.

Horde Night Defenses

  • 1Place Iron Spikes around the perimeter to slow and damage zombies.
  • 2Use Electric Fences to stun zombies in kill corridors.
  • 3Build Auto Turrets at choke points for automated defense.
  • 4Place Blade Traps in corridors for continuous damage.
  • 5Use Land Mines as a last line of defense.
  • 6Always have a backup escape route from your horde base.

Structural Integrity

  • 1Every block has a Support Index (SI) - heavier blocks need more support.
  • 2Reinforced Concrete has excellent SI for building tall structures.
  • 3Pillars every 5-6 blocks prevent structural collapse.
  • 4Steel blocks provide the best structural integrity in the game.
  • 5Test your design in creative mode before building in survival.

Advanced Base Designs

  • 1Corridor bases funnel all zombies through a single path of traps.
  • 2Tower bases force zombies to climb stairs through trap layers.
  • 3Underground bunkers protect against Demolisher explosions.
  • 4Floating bases (raised platforms) prevent direct block damage.
  • 5Combine multiple designs for redundancy on high-difficulty games.
