Hunt Strategy

Magnamalo is the flagship monster of Monster Hunter Rise, a fearsome fanged wyvern cloaked in Hellfire energy. It charges relentlessly and detonates Hellfireblight clouds for massive area damage. Prioritize removing Hellfire buildup by Wirebugging, and target its tail and head with Ice or Water weapons for maximum effect.

Tips & Strategies

1. 1Target the tail and forelegs to break parts and reduce its Hellfire output.
2. 2When it fills with Hellfire energy (glowing purple), it becomes enraged -- increase aggression or switch to defensive play.
3. 3Hellfire explosions linger on the ground -- avoid standing in residue areas.
4. 4Wirebug to safety when it performs the diving Hellfire blast -- it covers a huge area.
5. 5Use Dereliction armor set for maximum damage output against this monster.

Aim for the back -- mounting cancels its Hellfire charge attacks.
