Unit Placement Strategy

  • 1Place tanks on the front floor (floor 1) to absorb enemy attacks first.
  • 2Damage dealers belong on floors 2-3 where they can attack safely.
  • 3Units with Sweep or multi-hit abilities are most effective on crowded floors.
  • 4Boss floors require your strongest setup -- save your best units for floor 1.

Scaling Mechanics

  • 1Doublestack (buff one unit massively) is often stronger than spreading upgrades.
  • 2Reform units (Melting Remnant) scale infinitely through repeated deaths and revivals.
  • 3Gorge units (Umbra) need consistent Morsel feeding to reach full potential.
  • 4Incant units (Stygian Guard) reward spell-heavy decks with powerful triggers.

Unit Synergies

  • 1Hellhorned + Awoken: Rage tanks with Rejuvenate healing create unkillable frontlines.
  • 2Stygian + Umbra: Frostbite stacking on Gorge-fed units for hybrid damage.
  • 3Melting Remnant + Hellhorned: Burnout units dying feeds Rage and Reform loops.
  • 4Wurmkin pairs well with any clan that uses many spells for Echo value.
