Guia para Principiantes

Basicos de defensa del Ancestral: heroes, objetos, mapa y objetivos.

Learn the Map

Dota 2 has 3 lanes (Top, Mid, Bottom) connected by a jungle on each side. The Radiant side is bottom-left and Dire is top-right. The river divides the map and contains rune spawn points at 0:00 and every 2 minutes.

Start with Simple Heroes

Play Wraith King (carry), Viper (mid), Bristleback (offlane), Ogre Magi (support), or Lich (support). These heroes have straightforward abilities and are forgiving of mistakes.

Last-Hit Everything

Gold is earned by delivering the killing blow to creeps. Each missed last-hit is 40-70 gold lost. Practice in demo mode until you can consistently hit 50+ last-hits in 10 minutes.

Always Carry a TP Scroll

Town Portal Scrolls (100 gold) let you teleport to any allied building. Always have one in your inventory. Use it to defend towers, escape ganks, or join teamfights across the map.

Watch the Minimap

Glance at the minimap every 3-5 seconds. If you cannot see enemy heroes, assume they are coming for you. Missing enemy heroes on the map means danger. Develop map awareness early.

Follow Recommended Items

The in-game shop has recommended item builds for every hero. Follow these until you understand itemization. Starting items should always include regeneration (Tangoes, Healing Salve).

Use Your Abilities

Do not hoard spells waiting for the perfect moment. Using abilities to secure kills, escape, or farm is better than dying with full mana. Learn each hero's combo order.

Die Less, Farm More

Every death gives the enemy gold and XP while you waste time respawning. Play safely when unsure. Farming jungle camps between fights keeps your gold income steady.

Objectives Win Games

Towers, Roshan, and Barracks are how you win - not kills. After winning a teamfight, push towers instead of chasing survivors. Taking objectives creates permanent map advantages.

Communicate with Your Team

Use chat wheel phrases and pings to communicate. Call missing heroes, request help, and coordinate pushes. Dota 2 is a team game - even the best player cannot win alone consistently.
