Biome Guides
Every biome in Noita from the starting Mines to the Temple of the Art. Learn what dangers await at each depth.
Holy Mountain
Between floors
A safe haven between biomes where you can edit wands, buy spells and perks, and restore health. Angering the gods by breaking the boundary triggers a powerful guardian.
Mines
Floor 1
The starting biome of every Noita run. Contains weak enemies, basic wands, and many environmental hazards like explosive barrels and flammable liquids.
Coal Pits
Floor 2
A dark, coal-filled cavern with increased fire hazards. Enemies are tougher than the Mines and flammable materials are everywhere.
Snowy Depths
Floor 3
A frozen underground cavern with icy terrain and freezing water. Enemies deal more damage and the cold environment can slow unprepared players.
Hiisi Base
Floor 4
A military installation filled with Hiisi soldiers, turrets, and heavy weaponry. One of the most dangerous biomes due to concentrated ranged enemy fire.
Underground Jungle
Floor 5
A lush but deadly underground jungle teeming with organic enemies and pools of polymorphine. Getting polymorphed can end runs instantly.
The Vault
Floor 6
A deep vault filled with powerful magical enemies and electrical hazards. Wands found here tend to be strong, but survival is not guaranteed.
Temple of the Art
Floor 7
The final standard biome before the boss. Contains the most powerful enemies in the main path and extremely dangerous magical projectiles.
