Strategy Guide

Advanced strategies for quota management, team roles, and efficient runs.

Quota Management

  • 1Day 1: Go to a free moon to gather initial scrap for buying equipment.
  • 2Always buy Flashlights and at least 1 Shovel before your first paid moon.
  • 3Sell scrap at the Company moon before the deadline - prices fluctuate daily.
  • 4Keep track of your quota deadline. Missing it means game over.
  • 5Sell only what you need - save excess scrap for next quota.

Optimal Team Roles

  • 1Ship Operator: Stays on ship, monitors radar, opens/closes doors, uses teleporter.
  • 2Scout: Enters facility first, maps layout, identifies monster spawns.
  • 3Carrier: Focuses on collecting heavy/valuable scrap items.
  • 4Guard: Carries shovel, protects teammates from monsters.
  • 5All players should have walkie-talkies for communication.

Efficient Scrap Runs

  • 1Prioritize high-value items: Gold Bar, Painting, Fancy Lamp, Cash Register.
  • 2Leave low-value heavy items unless you need them for quota.
  • 3Create a scrap pile near the main entrance before carrying to ship.
  • 4Return to ship before 6 PM to avoid nighttime outdoor monsters.
  • 5One player can guard the scrap pile while others explore deeper.

Survival Priorities

  • 1Never go alone in the facility. Always travel in pairs minimum.
  • 2Check ceilings for Snare Fleas when entering new rooms.
  • 3If you hear the Jester winding up, everyone evacuates immediately.
  • 4Keep track of time. Being outside after dark is extremely dangerous.
  • 5If a teammate dies, grab their items and leave. Do not risk more deaths.

Moon Selection Strategy

  • 1Early game: Use free moons (Experimentation, Assurance, Vow) to build funds.
  • 2Mid game: March and Offense offer good risk/reward for growing teams.
  • 3Late game: Rend (550), Dine (600), Titan (700) have the best loot.
  • 4Check weather before landing. Eclipsed and Flooded increase danger significantly.
  • 5If a moon has bad weather, consider a cheaper alternative instead.
