Straight Swords (5)
Lothric Knight Sword
The best straight sword in the game with excellent range, damage, and critical modifier of 110. Dominates PvP and PvE with any infusion.
Long Sword
A reliable starting weapon with balanced stats. Low requirements make it accessible to any build from the very beginning of the game.
Broadsword
A wide-bladed straight sword ideal for strength-oriented builds. Slightly higher base damage than the Long Sword but shorter reach.
Dark Sword
A straight sword wielded by Darkwraiths. Unique R1 moveset with wide horizontal slashes and the Stomp weapon art make it a fearsome PvP choice.
Gotthard Twinswords
Paired straight swords with excellent range and a versatile moveset. The L1 attacks deal rapid dual-wielding damage, making them strong for quality builds.
Greatswords (2)
Claymore
One of the most versatile greatswords in the game. Excellent range, a varied moveset with both horizontal and thrust attacks, and scales well with any infusion.
Black Knight Sword
A greatsword wielded by the Black Knights who served Gwyn. Perseverance weapon art grants hyper armor, and its R2 attacks have excellent reach and rollcatch potential.
Ultra Greatswords (4)
Greatsword
A colossal ultra greatsword that requires immense strength to wield. Staggers most enemies with every hit and deals devastating damage with heavy attacks.
Farron Greatsword
The signature weapon of the Abyss Watchers, paired with a dagger for parrying. The L1 combo is a flashy spinning attack that covers ground rapidly.
Profaned Greatsword
The greatsword of Pontiff Sulyvahn, imbued with the Profaned Flame. The weapon art lights the blade on fire for massive charged R2 attacks.
Astora Greatsword
The lightest ultra greatsword in the game, making it perfect for dexterity and quality builds. Excellent when infused with Sharp, and the Charge weapon art is devastating in PvP.
Katanas (2)
Uchigatana
A classic katana available early in the game. Its Hold weapon art allows for both offense and defense, and it causes Bleed buildup on hit.
Washing Pole
An extraordinarily long katana with the greatest reach of any katana. Its running R1 is one of the best rollcatch moves in PvP.
