Dynasty management, legacies, and succession strategies.

1

Dynasty Legacies

Spend Renown to unlock dynasty-wide perks in 5 legacy tracks: Blood, Law, Guile, Erudition, and Glory. Blood legacies improve genetic traits across your entire dynasty.

2

Succession Management

Partition succession splits your realm between sons. Switch to Primogeniture as soon as possible. Until then, manage by having fewer sons or granting titles strategically.

3

Marriage Strategy

Marry for alliances with powerful neighbors, for claims on foreign titles, or for genetic traits. Matrilineal marriages keep children in your dynasty when marrying off daughters.

4

House Founding

Create a cadet house to become the house head with control over house members. This grants the ability to demand conversions, manage marriages, and claim House Head titles.

5

Genetic Traits

Beautiful, Genius, and Herculean traits can be bred into your dynasty. Marry characters with these traits and use Blood dynasty legacies to increase inheritance chance.

6

Dynasty Prestige

Living dynasty members generate Renown passively. More independent rulers in your dynasty means more Renown. Spread your dynasty through marriages to foreign courts.

7

Disinheritance

Spend Renown to disinherit problematic heirs. This is expensive but prevents bad heirs from inheriting. Combine with title management for smooth succession.

8

Realm Stability

Use High Partition and designate an heir with the best traits. Grant extra sons their own duchies outside your primary kingdom to minimize partition damage.
